How do I get there ?

The actual address will probably not be in your GPS unit. The intersection at the northeast corner of the farm is
Saddleclub Road
and
Log Cabin Lane
Bonnie
, IL
(or Opdyke or Belle Rive depending on your GPS unit)

From I-57 go east on I-64 at exit 92. Get off at exit 80 and take Illinois Highway 37 south 4 miles to County Road 600N also known as Saddle Club Road. Go east almost 5 miles and turn right in the drive at Grandpa Robert's

Another year has come and gone

Yes, another year has come and gone.
We met and talked and ate and enjoyed being a family

There were a few campers

A 4 wheeler or two ... or three ... or more

And a bunch of folks setting in the shade watching ...

WATER SLIDE !
There were various styles

Some had it down to a science

Some just had fun sliding in the water

And just how many can you get down at once?

If you made it, we were glad to see you.
If you missed it, hope to see you next year.

2009 Reunion Letter

Hello all,

It's that time of the year again for the Bumpus clan to get together. This year marks the 39th annual reunion. We hope that you can join us for 3 days of fellowship, relaxation and catching up August 7-8-9. Join us for one day or all three the important thing is that you are there. When we talk to our friends about the reunion, they can't believe we get together every year. It allows our family to remain close unlike so many others. It is truly special so please make an effort to attend.

The reunion has been a great success over the years so the format will basically remain intact. We are hopeful there is one new tradition "Past, Present, Future" that gets started. Don't forget to bring auction items, swimsuits if you want to participate in the giant slip 'n slide and photos for the Saturday afternoon "show and tell". Please see the schedule for times and events throughout the weekend.

If you are interested in staying in the house, please call or email to insure your space... .first come, first serve. If you cannot make it but want to send a letter or email to let us know what is going on with your family, we will be glad to share it. It would be nice if we can build a list of everybody's email, could you please send - yours to the below email address.

Lastly, we would like to thank everyone who works hard throughout the year to guarantee all of us a great three-day weekend every summer. See you there!!
